White Goods

We build boats predominantly intended for residential or long term use and our choice of white goods used in the fit out reflects this. The boats all having domestic style electrical installations negating the need for caravan style fridges and cookers.

We fit domestic style “A” or “AA” rated Fridges, Freezers, Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers the standard electrical installation on the Calder range boats will happily power items of this nature.

The standard cooker fitted on the Calder range boats is a New World GG720 FSD accompanied by a New World TF600 GSXI  both of these units are full size domestic units supplied to a marine specification.

For those with more exacting demands we able to supply upgraded galley equipment offered by Baumatic who supply a wide range of modern high specification cookers, hobs and ranges.

We normally recommend gas cooking; this being the simplest, most effective method. Electric cooking is perfectly possible too but is only really possible with an electrical system designed to take this into account, including a sufficiently rated generator.

We have fitted diesel fired galley equipment but customers have found that these relatively small units are more suited to the recreational rather than residential market.
