In order to build a high quality hull then only the best materials suffice-
- All steel used in the hull construction is UK sourced (Corus) complying to the BS EN 10025 standards.
- The steel is supplied descaled from the mill and oiled to prevent corrosion. This steel remains “bright” from steel mill to finished hull. This negates the need for finishing prior to fabrication or shot blasting prior to painting, the hull remains scale and rust free at all times.
- All steel mouldings rubbing strakes etc are bright shot blasted at source.
- Batch details of the steel are supplied by the mill and kept for reference in the constructors technical file.
