NOBELS BOW THRUSTERS

Since 1968 Nobels have produced and supplied over 25,000 units worldwide. Aquafax supply to many leading UK boat builders including Birchwood Boats, Broom Boats, Fairline Boats Plc, Haines Marine, Sunseeker International, & many others including Ledgard Bridge, Midland Canal Centre, Reading Marine, Triton Boat Fitters, and Warble Narrow Boats. In fact they are very popular with canal boat builders due to their rugged and reliable construction, particularly when the thruster is not easily accessible when fitted in a long tube.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION

Heavy duty DC, electric motor supported by a stainless steel housing that straddles tube, giving a strong reliable installation. All submersed parts are stainless steel. The 4 HP is shaft driven transmission and the 8 - 20 HP chain driven. The gear housing is permanently greased.

MOUNTING ALTERNATIVES

When space is a restriction the 4 HP bow thruster can be installed in any position. Installation from 45 to horizontal requires a support for the motor. The 8-20HP models have a low profile but can be mounted 10 % off vertical.
